The department is concerned with teaching and training student nurses for the delivery of health services to children through preventive, promotive, restorative and rehabilitative services.The purpose of this department is to prepare the students to identify the normal growth and development; needs / problems of children of various age groups and deviations from normal; recognize the basic concepts, principles and techniques of child care and the role of family in child caring. The department functions effectively under the guidance and supervision of experienced faculty, a well-equipped laboratory and best clinical exposure facilities.Considering each child and family as a unit of the society, the department follows quality and continuous improvement in the field of education, research thereby ensuring continuous professional growth.
