Internal Audit Committee

The internal audit committee is formed to ensure the compliance of the institutional academic processes with the requirements of the accreditation agencies like QAS, KUHS and NAAC. The Audit committee is responsible to perform internal academic audit and preparation of the report and takes appropriate action to correct the nonconformities suggested.

Functions:

Ensures that the organization establishes an effective internal controls.
Reviews the policies of the organization particular related to Quality.
Conducts internal academic audits regularly to refine the quality assurance standards.
Allows departments to make proper introspections.

Assess the standards and criteria related to the accreditation processes and prepares the audit reports.
Acts as a channel of communication and prepares the audit reports effectively.
Suggests measures to implement the strategies of remediation of deficiencies.

Policies On Academic audit:

The audit of the institution shall be for the period of one academic year.
Systematic internal reviews shall be planned regularly.
An internal audit expert can be included in the committee if available.
The audit shall be carried out as per the requirements of the accreditation agencies.
The student may be suspended from College while the investigation takes place.

Minimum of three to five days can be taken to complete an audit.
The audit report shall be prepared by the team and can be reviewed by IQAC.
The nonconformities can be corrected within a given time period.
