Finance Committee

Functions of the Committee:

• The Finance Committee prepares the budget for every academic year, as per the requirements of the departments on priority basis.
• All the purchases are approved by the Finance Committee.
• Accounts are maintained by the Head Accountant and the Principal is accountable for all the financial transactions.
• The Finance Committee evaluates the requirements of the college and prepares a budget for the allocation of funds. This is submitted to the College Council for approval and subsequently implemented by the Director.
• Conduct of internal and external financial audit.
• Preparation of evidence documents for budgetary allocation and audited statements.
• Monitors the resource mobilization and utilization.
