Quality Policy:
Caritas college of nursing is committed to have an innovative approach for continual improvement of quality in nursing education, preparing student nurses to provide competent health care in the clinical and community settings and promoting a research enabling environment. College of nursing will also enhance the system of maintenance of excellence in the services offered to our stake holders to meet or exceed their expectations. The college will also ensure compliance to all the statutory, legal, safety and environmental regulations.
Quality Objectives:
- To refine the various academic and administrative processes of the institution in order to achieve quality outcomes.
- To enhance the satisfaction of all the stakeholders associated with the institution
- To optimize the process of academic accreditations and implementation of all the criteria as mentioned by the accreditation bodies
Quorum:
The quorum shall be 2/3 rd of the total members.
Frequency of meeting:
Once in three months and as need arises.
Month of meeting:
January, April, July, October.
Functions:
- Development of the existing infrastructure and maintenance of a conducive environment in college, hospital and hostel for nurturing and facilitating personal & professional growth of students.
- Enrich the teaching faculty with knowledge & competencies required in par with the standards of university and to deliver the teaching learning activities incorporating advanced technology.
- Implement curriculum in a well structured and well planned manner maintaining quality standards in theory and practical in various subjects.
- To focus on quality as the key element in planning and executing the various activities of administrators, faculty & students and also in delivering quality patient care in the hospital & community settings.
- Co-ordinate & collaborate with the various research activities of the intramural & extramural agencies and to progress in the evidence generation & utilization process.
- Advance in the outreach programmes benefiting communities, providing services to vulnerable groups, collaborating with Government & NGO.
- To maintain a well-defined transparent system of student support & guidance in various dimension.
- To contribute to the administrative strategies of both college & hospital, review & formulate the policies related to governance, employees, budget etc.
- To encourage best practices in hospital, administration, faculty & environment for excellence in delivery of services and to motivate the members for innovative strategies & products.
- To have a regular feedback system in all the activities related to stakeholders, community& university.
